The Sacred Return — A Journey Back to the Heart is an invitation to step away from the noise and responsibilities of everyday life and enter a peaceful, private sanctuary setting surrounded by nature. For three days and two nights, we will create space to slow down, journey inward, open the heart, reconnect with ourselves, and allow time for rest, reflection, remembrance, and integration. This is not simply about getting away for a few days. It’s a journey... Back to your heart. Back to your truth. Back to yourself. WHO THIS JOURNEY IS FOR The Sacred Return is open to individuals, partners, couples, and adult family members who feel called to experience this sacred journey. You are absolutely welcome to come on your own. You do not need to attend with a partner, friend, or family member. For those who feel called to journey alongside someone they love, this retreat offers an opportunity to share sacred space together while honoring that each person’s experience and inner journey remain uniquely their own. There can be something deeply meaningful about doing our own inner work while surrounded by those we love — creating space for deeper connection, understanding, communication, forgiveness, remembrance, and a return to the heart. Whether you arrive individually or alongside someone meaningful in your life, you will be welcomed into the same intimate and personally supported sanctuary setting. THE SACRED MEDICINE JOURNEY Our time together will include a heart-centered Huachuma and Sacred Cacao journey along with two individually held Bufo ceremonies. Huachuma • San Pedro • Mescaline One heart-centered Huachuma journey with space to slow down, connect with nature, turn inward, and explore what may be ready to be seen, felt, released, or remembered. Sacred Cacao Ceremony Sacred Cacao will be woven into our Huachuma journey with the intention of opening and connecting more deeply with the heart. Two Bufo Alvarius • 5-MeO-DMT Ceremonies Two Bufo ceremonies will be offered during the retreat, allowing space between experiences for grounding, rest, reflection, and integration. The second Bufo ceremony will take place on the morning of October 30, our final retreat day. Time will be allowed afterward for nourishment, rest, grounding, and integration before departure. MORE THAN THE CEREMONIES Sacred medicine is only one part of the journey. Preparation, Ancient Teachings, reflection, and integration are intentionally woven throughout the entire experience. Guests will also receive materials to continue connecting with the teachings and their personal journey after leaving the Sanctuary. We intentionally keep our retreats very small so that each guest can receive personal attention and the space can remain peaceful, intimate, and deeply supported. Our space honors the balance of masculine and feminine energies — strength and softness, courage and surrender, giving and receiving, holding and allowing. Guests are invited to arrive exactly as they are and enter a space centered around respect, personal sovereignty, connection, and the heart. YOUR STAY AT THE SANCTUARY Bufo Healing Sanctuary is held within a peaceful, private home sanctuary in Huntsville, Texas, surrounded by nature. Rather than a large commercial retreat center, this is an intentionally small and personal environment where we gather, share meals, rest, integrate, and experience ceremony together. Your two-night stay and nourishing, healthy organic meals are included as part of your retreat experience. The intimate setting allows us to create a more personal experience while giving each guest space to rest, reflect, and integrate between ceremonies. TRAVEL & DEPARTURE PLANNING Please keep the ceremonial schedule in mind before booking your return travel. Your second Bufo Alvarius • 5-MeO-DMT ceremony will take place on the morning of October 30, our final retreat day. We do not want guests to feel rushed from their final ceremony directly into the stress of travel. Time afterward is intentionally reserved for rest, nourishment, grounding, and integration. If you are flying home, please arrange a later return flight on October 30 and allow plenty of time between your ceremony and departure. For guests who would prefer a gentler transition before traveling home, there may be an option to extend your stay at the Sanctuary for an additional night, based on availability. We encourage everyone to leave flexibility in their travel plans so the final morning can remain focused on your ceremony, integration, and a peaceful transition back into everyday life. BEFORE YOUR JOURNEY Every prospective guest begins with our screening and preparation process. This includes a Discovery Call or Discovery Zoom, confidential Intake Waiver, medical and substance screening, review, and acceptance before participating in sacred medicine. Each person is screened individually, including partners, couples, and adult family members attending together. Our intention is to determine whether the retreat and medicines being offered are appropriate for each individual and to create the safest and most intentional container possible. Participation is not guaranteed simply by requesting a space.
