Our foundation honors the meeting point between ancient wisdom, ceremonial stewardship, nervous system awareness, spiritual growth, and grounded support. We recognize that true transformation is not found solely within the experience itself, but through the way we prepare, integrate, live, and embody what is revealed afterward.

Our Spiritual Foundation

Bufo Healing Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) spiritual sanctuary and sacred community devoted to sincere spiritual practice, sacred ceremony, personal transformation, and the responsible stewardship of our sacramental traditions.

Our path is rooted in a direct and personal relationship with God, Great Spirit, the Divine, and Sacred Mother Earth. We honor the sovereignty of each individual and recognize that one's relationship with the Divine is deeply personal and does not require identification with a traditional or man-made religious doctrine.

Sacred ceremony is approached as a spiritual practice — with reverence, intention, prayer, preparation, responsibility, and respect for the sacrament. We believe the ceremony itself is only one part of the journey. How we live, integrate, embody, and carry what has been revealed into our relationships and everyday lives is equally sacred.

Spiritual Freedom & Sacred Practice

Our sincere spiritual beliefs, ceremonies, and sacramental practices exist within the broader legal framework of religious freedom in the United States.

The First Amendment protects the free exercise of faith, and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) provides a legal framework protecting sincere religious exercise from substantial governmental burden, subject to the standards established within the law.

While the language of the law uses the term “religion” and “religious exercise,” Bufo Healing Sanctuary identifies our path as deeply spiritual. We honor these legal protections while remaining rooted in a direct relationship with the Divine, sacred ceremony, spiritual sovereignty, and sincerely held spiritual beliefs.

Our ceremonies and sacramental practices are approached with reverence, integrity, responsibility, spiritual intention, careful stewardship, and respect for applicable law.
